Zaccys London offers women that much desired combination of comfort and beauty in footwear – luxury handmade wedges with deep memory foam insoles, perfect for glamorously avoiding sinking into the grass on racedays!

Meg Cope, a former eye surgeon, founded the feel good brand after struggling to find the perfect summer shoe. Seeking a better work–life balance after the recovery of her youngest child from leukaemia, she designed and created the collection. It is her meticulous attention to detail that helps to produce truly exceptional shoes. Zaccys London donates £5 for every pair sold to the children’s cancer charities that supported Meg and her family during Zac’s illness – the extra feel good factor!

It is a small artisanal family run factory in Valenciana, Spain that also make for Valentino, D&G and Louboutin that collaborate with Meg to create Zaccys – the world’s most comfortable wedges. Using only the finest quality leathers from Italy and combining technical materials such as high-density memory foam and anti-slip soles with custom-made, hand-dyed jute braids and beautiful natural cork, Zaccys London shoes are truly in a class of their own.

Meg was tired of the ubiquitous ankle strap and how it foreshortens the leg; her designs are focused on creating the most flattering and leg-lengthening aesthetic. Using nude and metallic colour palettes and maximally cut-away uppers, Zaccys help create that illusion of a longer leaner silhouette for your legs.

Zaccys are also designed with versatility in mind, the clever neutral shades embellished with metallics in silver, gold or rose gold will pair effortlessly with everything in your summer wardrobes. One pair will take you from beach to bar or office to cocktails, also making them ideal for light summer holiday packing.

What to read next on Eclipse Magazine

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.

She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.

If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
