Thursday of Royal Ascot 2022 was Gold Cup Day and also ‘Ladies Day’. Fashionistas donned their best outfits and strutted their stuff on the most stylish raceday of the year.
Taking place on Thursday 16th June 2022, EclipseMagazine.co.uk’s photographer Ian Yates (www.eyewhy.co.uk) was there to capture their looks.
THE ROYAL PROCESSION
The 1st Carriage delivered The Princess Royal, Vice Admiral Sir Tim Laurence, Mr. Mike Tindall and Mrs. Mike Tindall.

RACEGOERS’ STYLE
Fashionistas were out in force of course for Ladies’ Day, and the sun came out to join them.
Top marks go to ITV Racing’s Ed Chamberlain who looked extremely dapper in his morning suit with lemon yellow tie and white collar on his pale blue shirt. His blue double breasted waistcoat was finished with white piping and buttons for added contrast. Altogether a contemporary look for a traditional dress outfit.
For the ladies gathered sleeves were popular and as always, accessories were key.
