HAILING FROM A TEXTILE FAMILY, OMAR MANSOOR GREW UP IN A WORLD SURROUNDED BY CULTURE, ARCHITECTURE, ART, HISTORY AND DESIGN.
He cultivated a vast knowledge of textiles under the watchful eyes of his elders, who were known for their taste for intricate clothing. Omar moved to London to study fashion where he learned the craft of draping and cutting fabric to create a clean, elegant and timeless silhouette. Omar merged this design philosophy with the knowledge he gained from his family’s business to cultivate his own distinctive flair, hence the Omar Mansoor aesthetic was born.
Omar launched his eponymous collection in 2008, since then his luxurious collection of immaculately cut dresses, classy gowns and stylish separates has adorned glamorous women around the world including British actresses, International royalty and European aristocracy at various red carpets including Oscars and Cannes.
Omar Mansoor is widely credited with re-introducing the fusion clothing into modern fashion. Omar’s designs have been featured in prestigious publications such as Vogue UK, Huffington Post and Financial Times – and of course EclipseMagazine.co.uk!
To celebrate Valentine’s Day 2019 Omar is exclusively offering one lucky reader of EclipseMagazine.co.uk the chance to win a gorgeous red designer dress. This dress is not currently for sale – so unless you know him personally, you only have the chance to own one here!

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
