FACILITIES: Select from a range of suites, according to the size and style of your ceremony and reception. Hire of the Premier Box, Piercefield Suite or Tintern& St Arvans includes dressed registrar’s table and theatre-style seating.

PACKAGES: The course holds a wedding license for civil ceremonies and you can marry on a race day or evening. Hospitality packages include tailored three or four course silver service menus, plus a special complimentary dinner for the married couple to celebrate their first anniversary in the Silks Restaurant at their choice of race meeting (subject to availability).

Epsom Downs Racecourse

WHERE: Epsom Downs, Surrey

SETTING: Serene and elegant venue, positioned in the midst of The Downs, with access to mainline transportation.

FACILITIES: Epsom Downs Racecourse is one of the most historic racecourses in the world, home to The Derby since 1780. Exeter Racecourse

WHERE: Exeter

SETTING: Set on the top of Haldon Hill with fabulous views of the Haldon Forest

FACILITIES: Our brand new ‘Denman’ Room is due to open in November 2009 and can seat up to 150 people. With an upstairs room plus large balcony area to spill onto, this is the perfect venue for your special day. Although we are not licensed for civil ceremonies, the beautiful Belvedere Tower is just 5 minutes away.

PACKAGES: We offer flexible menus to suit your requirements, which can be discussed with our Catering Manager when making your initial enquiry. Our wedding gift for the happy couple is a complimentary three course meal in our Desert Orchid Restaurant on a raceday of their choice. (subject to availability).

Hereford Racecourse

WHERE: Herefordshire

SETTING: Spacious peaceful surroundings on the edge of Hereford.

FACILITIES: The Silks Restaurant at the edge of the lawned Premier Enclosure, is the main venue for wedding receptions, and has superb views across the racecourse as well as large bar area and dance floor. It holds between120 and 250 guests (though smaller numbers are accepted for an extra charge). Alternatively the course will lay on a marquee specially for you.

PACKAGES: A dedicated Wedding Co-ordinator will help you plan your day, and a selection of packages are available – including the provision of a red carpet if you wish to make a really grand entrance!

Huntingdon Racecourse

WHERE: Cambridgeshire

SETTING: Rural Cambridgeshire Countryside

FACILITIES: Huntingdon Racecourse makes a unique setting for all to enjoy, whether you are planning an intimate gathering or a large, more formal occasion, you will find the flexibility of the venue more than appealing. The Peterborough Chase suite has stunning panoramic views over the racecourse and surrounding area. The banqueting capacity in the Peterborough Chase suite is for a maximum of 130 guests. Alternatively, you might prefer to personalise the day with your own marquee on the private lawns of the racecourse. Kempton Park Racecourse

WHERE: South west London, near M25

SETTING: ‘Unique and exciting’

FACILITIES: A choice of suites including the Hampton Suite tucked right behind the Parade Ring with its own patio for summer style. The Desert Orchid Suite is luxurious with a private balcony from which to enjoy views across the racecourse. The Premier Suite is ideal for larger parties of up to 500 people. Newmarket Racecourses

WHERE: Suffolk

SETTING: Choose from two racecourses: the modern Natwest Rowley Mile with its top class facilities and Millennium Grandstand which was opened by The Queen in 2000; and the July Course with its garden party setting, thatched roves and traditional grandstands – as well as the sparkling new facilities that have been added in its multi-million pound development (opened in 2007).

FACILITIES: The Hong Kong Suite at the July Course has its own access off the central courtyard and has a series of rooms including the Saddle Room – a former jockeys’ room with original oak paneling. The Hong Kong Suite has a license for Civil Wedding Ceremonies, as do the Natwest Rowley Mile facilities.

Southwell Racecourse

WHERE: Nottinghamshire (near Newark)

SETTING: Tranquil and stylish, set in the countryside but close to main transport links

FACILITIES: Facilities include the Queen Mother Suite with views over the racecourse that can host up to 300 guests, and the silk-lined Paddock Marquee. Licensed to hold civil ceremonies – which take place in the Winning Post Suite, which is set on the first floor of the Grandstand and offers panoramic views. Photographs may be staged in the Parade Ring, Winners Enclosure, Winning Post and Gardens.

PACKAGES: There is a choice of packages and the course’s on-site caterers will create a menu for to suit you; a children’s menu is also available. The Wedding Co-ordinator will help you plan your day, and if you opt to have your wedding on a raceday, you can choose to sponsor a race and present a prize to the winners too!

At Towcester Racecourse we offer you the opportunity to have exclusive use of both our award winning stands. This allows you to hold your Civil Ceremony in the GRACE STAND and your reception in the EMPRESS STAND. Minimum numbers of 100 are required up to a maximum of 250 guests.

We will provide you with our team of dedicated and professional catering staff who will ensure that all your individual needs are satisfied. They will be willing to provide you with a selection of menu and beverage options and discuss individual requirements.

Uttoxeter Racecourse

WHERE: Staffordshire

SETTING: Charming and tranquil and open for weddings all year round.

FACILITIES: A registered venue for civil ceremonies, with a choice of suites offering scenic views of the course and parade ring – from the smallest suite which hosts up to 10 people, to the luxurious marquee that holds up to 2000 guests.

PACKAGES: Check out the special offer if you book both your wedding ceremony and reception at the course. A range of menus are offered by the course’s award-winning caterers, Jenkinsons while the dedicated event manager will make sure your day runs smoothly. 1707 and Kingmaker Suites

Both of these suites are excellent for a private function and have fantastic views over the racecourse. 1707 can hold up to 130 seated and the Kingmaker can hold 60 seated.

Wedding Fair

This is going to be held on 27th September where we will be having various exhibitionists here. The room will be laid out to illustrate the types of decorations you can have at your function. This is held by a company called “My Wedding Portfolio”. The lady who is organising it from there has said the Fair has proved to be very popular in the past.

Hen Do/Stag Do package

This is for anyone wanting to hold a Hen/Stag do at the races. The package is priced at £49 + vat per person and includes:

-2 course dinner

-Admission to the Racecourse

-Private box overlooking the parade ring and winners enclosure

-Private bar facility

-Glass of Champagne on arrival

-Free car parking

-Race card

-Private tote facility


We also have a marquee on site here which can also be used for private wedding functions.
