OK August was not the month the racing events opened their gates to the public, so fingers crossed for the September races.
The government has advised that there will be a number of pilot sporting events in September to test the return of spectators as lockdown restrictions ease. Here’s hoping that the two major racing events, the Doncaster St Leger (9th–12th September) and Ayr Gold Cup (17th–19th September) will be among these pilots.
Celebrate the grand opening and go all-out glamour for your first racing day outing whether it is at Doncaster or Ayr. If again the doors are closed to the public, then it’s still the time to sparkle to show we can weather the storm.
