Part of the racecourse’s wider ‘Royal Ascot At Home’ campaign, the Royal Meet has invited at home racing fans to share a photo on social media using the campaign hashtags #StyledWithThanks and #RoyalAscot.
One of the joys of a day at Royal Ascot is the sing-along around the Bandstand at the end of the day, which became a tradition in the 1970s. This year may be exceptional in many ways, but this tradition is not one of them. Every evening at 5pm on ITV there is a virtual sing along featuring some famous faces – the Kaiser Chiefs and Andrew Lloyd Webber have made appearances so far this week!
Racing fans are encouraged to join in with that evening’s song sheet uploaded on to Royal Ascot At Home’s website daily: https://www.ascot.co.uk/
This evening’s tunes included Hey Jude, You’ve Lost (That Loving Feeling) and Daydream Believer.

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
