The inspiration for Hobbs summer 2020 collection is the British summer sky – the promise of a clear cerulean blue sky evoking memories of outdoor activities such as picnics, garden parties – and we are sure they also meant a day at the races.
Colour palette and patterns are fresh white broderie anglais, cool blue gingham and sunshine yellow ikat florals alongside colour blocks of fuchsia pink, grass green and cerulean blue to conjure up a summer’s day.
Here are our top picks for a day at the races:
Go head to toe fuchsia pink in the Natasha trousers £149, Natasha blouse with its statement puffed sleeves £110 and kitten heeled Billie sandals £139. Accessorised here with the wide Olivia £69 belt to cinch in the waist. Top it all with a statement pink hat.
A gem of a dress is the Deanna £189 with its sharp pleats and bold emerald green colour. Adding some bling is the gold Suri chain belt £69
Say it with Flowers.
Rosalind midi dress £199 accessorised here with the yellow Rosie skinny belt £49, Laura hoop earrings £29 and Elodie gladiator flat sandals £89.
Keep up the sunshine with a yellow Ashwell tote bag and matching floral scarf.
Also saying it with flowers is the fresh green Miriam Bardot dress £199.
Ready for the races is the Charlie dress with its equestrian snaffle print expertly hand-drawn in Hobbs’ London studio. £169. Accessorised with turf green Elliya heeled sandals £139 and Ashwell tote bag £129
