Safari we’ve looked at the leopard and the snake as top of the animal prints this season, but it is a jungle out there with two more creeping up to usurp their fashion thrones.

The Tiger

This shy creature is venturing out of the forests and into the stores, ready to take on the leopard as Top Cat. Its orange and black striped coat may be used as camouflage in the wild but in the fashion world it makes a bold statement.

Outline London Fortune trouser suit goes for contemporary glamour with its abstract tiger stripes and updated colourway of rust and black. Jacket £210. Tapered Trousers £140.

The bright orange may have been subdued but not your party nature. Roar the night away with Kenzo’s gold plated growling tiger necklace. Price £160.

For all you nocturnal tigers partying all night, don a pair of sunglasses to shield your eyes from the flashing bulbs of the paparazzi waiting outside. Le Specs x Adam Selman cat eye sunglasses with tiger striped frames available from Net a Porter. Price £75.

Team with a pair of Alto pointed moc croc leather ankle boots from Office. Price £96. Not the best of mates but they look so good together!

The Zebra

Whilst the predator prints have had to fight their way to stylish status, the zebra’s fashion path has been a walk in the (national) park due to its already classic and striking monochrome print.

Plunge into the party mode with Boohoo’s mid length zebra print skater dress and its deep V neckline. Price at £25.

Add a touch of sparkle to your dance moves with Bengall diamante toe court shoe in zebra print from Dune London. Was £90 now £79.

Accessorise with a pair of Zebra print hoop earrings from TopShop. Price £12.50.

The Bafari clutch bag from Dune London is available in zebra print but why not put a cat amongst the pigeons (or in this case the zebras) with the red leopard print version in soft pony hair. Was £70 now £56.

When it is time to leave the party wrap up warm in faux fur with Topshop snow leopard jacket. Price £69.
