Although Leblon London did not have a fashion show or a presentation at London Fashion Week, the Brazilian born fashion designer did have a presence in the form of Eclipse’s Fashion Editor wearing her outfits.
(Yes that’s me taking in the third person.)
On day one of London Fashion Week, the sun was shining which gave me the opportunity to wear the very summery strapless Alma dress in 100% printed silk fabric. Accessorised with Nadia Minkoff bespoke drop earrings.
Nadia designs handbags and jewellery. Her bespoke jewellery is designed and created for the catwalk.
For day two it was the cool blue and white cotton floral Florence midi dress. With puff sleeves, it can be worn off or on the shoulders. Accessorised with Nadia Minkoff’s bespoke butterfly style pendant.
Both the Alma and Florence are made to order and colour/pattern can vary, as, with all Leblon London’s garments there is limited run of fabric per season.
Day three was not so sunny, however the Alice shirtdress brightened up the day in sizzling, hot pink. Other colours are cool white and chic navy but not yet available online – email [email protected] to enquire.
Accessorised with Nadia Minkoff’s grey pearl necklace and blue chalcedony and silver charm earrings. Limit-ed Blue Chalcedony & Silver Charm Earring – Nadia Minkoff
Day Four was a bit cooler so layering was the key. The Bianca sundress was layered with the Kiara top in the same green and white print resulting in the appearance of a long-sleeved dress. Fabric of Italian cotton.
The blouson sleeves of the Kiara top have smocked elasticated cuffs so can be worn down or pushed up to add volume.
The top is also available in a black/white; blue/white and a caramel/white print.
The style of the Bianca dress is available online in a floral print on a black background.
The last day was the turn of the sophisticated light Samil coat dress in rich ruby red with black pattern. This can be worn as an actual coat or a dress coat – here worn as a dress coat with leggings and a long sleeved t-shirt underneath.
Accessorised with Nadia’s bespoke black and white crystal earrings.
The coat is so new it is not yet online so please email enquiries.
Other garments I had the pleasure to wear for the February London Fashion Week:
Harper Denim jumpsuit in denim effect soft cotton with a large pussy bow tie and balloon sleeves.
Accessorised with Nadia Minkoff’s Half Moon Barbara handbag in silver leather.
Marianna crepe polyester pleated midi skirt with three tiers – available in black, burgundy and electric blue
Worn with Linda black silk pussybow shirt.
Adding colour and drama was the Luca Kimono cape coat. Cut from 100% printed cotton to a relaxed fit, this fully silk lined kimono cape has side splits that enhance the breezy shape. Lining of 100% silk.
Accessorised with Nadia Minkoff’s Half Moon Barbara handbag in gold leather.
Donna black cotton tulle skirt, embellished with silver embroidery for that touch of sparkle.
Blake Bomber jacket. Fabric is a textured cotton blend woven in a geometric pattern. Silk lining.
Reversible hooded cape jacket. One side tweed, the other quilted.
Matching quilted skirt with side slit.
Linda pussybow shirt in burnout printed silk fabric.
Accessorised with Nadia’s fringe clutch bag.
