The ladies’ amateur jockey race, the Magnolia Cup, presented by Swarovski, will get the day off to an impressive start, raising money for Cancer Research UK.
The prestigious Group 1 Qatar Nassau Stakes is the highlight of the eight-race card, worth £600,000. Expect fierce competition in the fashion stakes too!

The Style Stakes offers a top prize of £2000 for the star fashionista, while style guru Gok Wan will be spinning the decks after racing in a DJ set.
Wednesday 7th August
Head to ‘Ponte Carlo’ for the Best Dressed Gents competition, followed by the coveted Best Dressed Lady Competition to win an all inclusive holiday for two to Jamaica. The winner will also compete to be the Best Dressed Lady in Yorkshire in the final at Doncaster Racecourse. Arrive early: there’ll be a buttonhole and glass of bubbly for the first 500 ladies through the Premier Entrance.

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
