Haydock Park is proud to announce the second year of the Haydock Park Racing Club. With a maximum of 35 Members, it offers North West racegoers an insight into the ownership of a racehorse, plus a host of exclusive benefits.
Haydock Park is part of the North West arm of the Jockey Club, along with Aintree and Carlisle. The Haydock Park Racing Club benefits from these links, with all members being able to race at Haydock Park, Aintree and Carlisle with their Club Membership – giving over 50 days of free racing.
At Haydock Park all members will enjoy the Racing Club Room – an exclusive room with a fire, TV, host, free tea and coffee and a stocked bar. This is a great place for members to entertain friends, as everyone can bring a guest or two.
The Club has a four year old gelding, from Lilbourne Lad, a Jump horse in training with Oliver Greenall, former Champion point to point jockey, son of Lord Daresbury and an up and coming North West trainer based in Cheshire. The gelding has been in training for six months and will be ready to run early October with the hope of at least six runs next season.
The major benefits to Members are:
- a four year old gelding in training with Oliver Greenall for the 2019/2020 jump season

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
