Lock & Co. Hatters has launched a #HatsOnForTheNHS campaign and is asking for images of ladies and gents dressed up in their summer season finest going about day-to-day life in lockdown.
You may be mowing the lawn in your top hat and morning suit, barbecuing in a boater, home schooling in a gown and striking hat or picking up groceries in a face mask and panama. Entries which are tagged will be entered into a competition to win a £250 Lock & Co. gift voucher and a further £250 will be donated to the NHS Charities Together (www.nhscharitiestogether.co.uk).
In addition, the brand has committed to donate 10% of all its profits to NHS Charities Together from the sale of every Lock & Co. Couture by Awon Golding piece and every gentleman’s top hat purchased online at www.lockhatters.co.uk from 11th May to 30th June. They will also be donating 200 facemasks made by the Master Hatter from Lock & Co.’s 100% cotton handkerchiefs.
Chairman Ben Dalrymple commented: “Whilst May usually signals the start of the summer event season at Lock & Co., our thoughts this year go to the incredibly heroic workers and volunteers of our wonderful National Health Service. We hope that we can show our thanks and brighten our days by dressing-up for our favourite events, be it in our sunny gardens, family homes or during exercise.”
Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
