A great value family day out with 2-4-1 adult tickets and free entry for under 18’s. As well as a great afternoon of horse racing activities include inflatables, pony rides, face painting and more.

All the fun of the fair arrives at Goodwood, featuring a traditional carousel, helter skelter, balloon modeller and bubble artist. When the racing begins, catch the dedicated bus for a trip to the race start and watch the runners and riders burst from the stalls in a blur of colour and beating hooves – it’s truly an unforgettable sight.

PONTEFRACT – Flat Cap & Whippet Family Day
We all know that Yorkshire is full of whippets and men wearing flat caps right? Well at Pontefract on Sunday 23rd June, it will be! With whippet racing and ferret racing as well as the horses on the track. Also featuring a funfair, face painting, circus, free sweets, activity packs and racecards for kids, pony rides, trips to the starts of races and a ‘Hunt The Golden Horseshoe’ competition! Don’t forget to wear your flat cap!

WORCESTER – The Neu-Servo Family Fun Day
With plenty of free kids’ activities, as well as seven thrilling races for the grown-ups to enjoy, this is an action-packed day out. The entertainment includes pony rides, face painting, lazer tag dome, bouncy castles, giant inflatables including an inflatable obstacle course, bouncy boxing and a wrecking ball!

NEWMARKET JULY COURSE – Carnival Raceday
Get your Hawaiian shirts and whistles at the ready for an afternoon of colourful Carnival fun! As well as superb racing there will be a party vibe, with Steel Bands, Caribbean Street Food, Dance Workshops and plenty of glitter! There will also be inflatables on site so the whole family can enjoy the day.

WINDSOR – Windsormania Family Music Festival
There will be a huge selection of entertainment and attractions on offer including a spectacular free funfair for the children including the UK’s largest dodgems!
As well as seven thrilling races there will be two of the country’s fantastic tribute acts, ALMOST OLLY and THE LITTLE MIX SHOW!

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
