EM DESIGN AWARDS 2020: During the summer and winter racing seasons, a legion of independent designers and makers create beautiful pieces for racegoers to use and wear at the races.
To celebrate their creativity and quality of work, especially at a time when so many businesses have been affected by the lack of racing due to coronovirus, we are delighted to announce the inaugural annual EM Design Awards (EclipseMagazine.co.uk).
Over the last few weeks our readers have been nominating/voting for their favourite designer or independent business, to give them a boost at a time when they might be feeling low. Over 1000 voters have placed their nominations and the five designers with the most votes in each category are now shortlisted below.
We now need to select the winners in each category:
- Voting continues until 24th June so if you have not voted for one of these already, please fill in the form below.
- If you have voted for them already, your vote will be carried forward into this round, so there is no need to vote again.
- Only one nomination and/or vote in each category per person please.
Winners will be announced after Midsummer’s Day (closing date: 24th June 2020, midnight).

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
