“Making art is not just about creating a stunning piece on canvas. It is not just what meets the eye.” Launching her very own fashion and lifestyle venture artist and founder Ella Prakash is creating and defining luxury with her venture Ella Impressions. Her mission is to bleed art into fashion and create luxurious and stylish couture.
Ella Prakash has always actively supported women empowerment through her work and now this powerhouse entrepreneur is set to take the next big leap in her career. After a very successful collaboration with a renowned UK based luxury designer where her art was featured in their designs, Ella knew that she had the key to create something extraordinary and unique which with the right direction can bring a luxurious spin to art for everyone. That was the birth of Ella Impressions, her very own high end couture fashion brand.
“It isn’t possible for everyone to own original art pieces. This is why I am on a mission. To make art affordable and bring utility to it so it will appeal to the masses. This grand launch will not only give the connoisseur an opportunity to own what they previously might not have been able to but also educate the ignorant on how truly beautiful the world is with art in it. This is not about Art or Fashion. This is about style and using it as a medium of identity and expression. In this story my art is only half of a dialogue; the buyers will extend the narrative by wearing my pieces.” says Ella Prakash.
Ella started her journey at the age of eight where she discovered painting and sketching as a hobby. As the clock moved and she turned 12 it became evident to her and everyone around her that this wasn’t just a hobby but her passion. Art made her happy; it gave her a voice and slowly had become an irreplaceable part of her life. To pursue a dream in a time where art wasn’t a mainstream form of learning, Ella pursued art and its various forms with just one dream in her heart, to paint like the artist she knew she could become. ‘Ella art gallery’ was launched in 2004 in Bahrain and she has never looked back ever since. She is the proud founder of Ella Art Foundation and is the Ambassador to Bahrain for Arts of India. Her art is all about painting about her emotions and the stories that have touched her and her new fashion line will be an exorbitant echo of this all through every single piece.
Ella Impressions is a collection that has been tamed, groomed, nurtured, designed, and constructed with precision, design aesthetic and a very insightfully curated range of organic and handmade fabrics and materials. Ella Impressions has stepped into the market of styling and fashion for all ages and genders. With its initial range of Scarves, Purses, and Shoes for women and Bow ties, Pocket squares, and Ties for men this brand is going to soon take over the accessory market with its plush and aesthetic appeal.
Ella always knew that she wanted to create luxury and not just fashion. From soft ‘Pashminas’, that will feel like a puff of clouds against your skin, to beautiful ‘Modals’ and ‘Silks’ in colours to match every mood. Every single piece will speak to you of its origin and birth and you will feel like you are lost in a garden of beauty and royalty while you adorn them.
This brand is going to take an emotional twist to the generic high end labels and give you a Renaissance of art. Art that will whisper soft poetry to you about hand woven laces and organic silks. Craft that will make you wear shades of blue when you are sad and pick bright reds for romantic getaways. Dexterity that will softly announce your arrival as every head turns to watch you enter a room and make a statement worthy of a couture magazine. Craftsmanship that will help you express through art what you cannot do with a simple and beautiful dress. Art that will bring a voice to fashion and fashion to your passion.
Ella Prakash creates art with her emotions and that is exactly what the buyer will connect to when they decide to indulge in Ella Impressions. It is a glorious celebration of EMOTION, ART, and FASHION all coming together to create a poetic and cosmic magnificence.
Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc.
She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine.
If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse…!!)
