Jess Glynne will be headlining an open-air concert at Wincanton Racecourse on 1st July 2017, as part of The Jockey Club Live series this summer.

Make sure you’re ‘Right Here’ on 1st July as The Jockey Club Live and Wincanton Racecourse host JESS GLYNNE, one of the UK’s hottest chart stars, in the racing heart of the community.

First coming into the public consciousness as the vocalist on Clean Bandit’s Grammy Award winning and #1 hit ‘Rather Be’; pop sensation Jess Glynne has since become one of the biggest UK breakthrough acts of recent years. Her number-one charting debut album, ‘I Cry When I Laugh‘, has turned double platinum in the UK, making it the highest selling debut album of the past year. Jess is also one of only two British female solo artists to have five consecutive UK number one singles and 2016 was a further massive year for Jess, with a sold-out UK arena tour under her belt plus she was nominated for British Breakthrough Act, British Female Solo Artist and British Single for ‘Hold My Hand’ at this year’s prestigious Brit Awards.

Jess Glynne said: “It’s going to be great fun playing Wincanton Racecourse on 1st July. I love outdoor shows and can’t wait to share some summer evenings with my fans, its just a shame I wont get to see any racing whilst I’m there.”

This open-air concert at Wincanton Racecourse offers a value for money experience unlike any other this summer with a show-stopping headlining performance by one of the UK’s biggest artists.

Huw Williams, General Manager, Wincanton Racecourses, said: ‘To attract and secure such a major artist is absolutely fantastic and we are very proud to be working with Jess Glynne for 2017. Given the great catalogue of music and her amazing live performances to date, I am sure this will be perfect show to welcome the area to The Jockey Club Live events.’

Karen can usually be found glued to her computer or at the stables. Having edited several national magazines she co-founded Eclipse Magazine in 2008 after realising that many of her friends were nervous about going racing due to lack of information – what to wear, how to bet etc. She absolutely loves her job (how many people can say that?!) and is truly grateful to all supporters of and contributors to Eclipse Magazine. If you are reading this she would like to say THANK YOU! (And please spread the word about Eclipse...!!)
