After watching the Royal wedding, why not continue the Bank Holiday celebrations with an evening at the races, and see the Grand National Winner BALLABRIGGS parading at Bangor on Dee, in the Paddock Enclosure at 5.15pm.

We have an exclusive family hospitality offer running for the evening, which includes a special treat for the children – a behind the scenes tour provided by BHEST (British Horseracing Education & Standards Trust). They will be shown around the Weighing Room, taken on to the course to see a fence close up and also given a fun pack about racing. For more information on the package, please contact Kirsty on: 01244 304 606.

We are lucky enough to have some of our regular sponsors present for the evening; The Lady Mostyn Memorial Novices’ Selling Hurdle will be sponsored by Mostyn Estates, and is to kick start The Red Cross Week – Red Cross volunteers will be taking the exit collections, so please give generously! The last race of the day, The James Griffith Memorial Novices’ Hunter Chase is a race kindly sponsored by The Griffith Family from Trefnant. James was an amateur rider who was sadly killed some years ago and his family continue to sponsor this race in his memory.

The first races is at 5.45pm and the last race at 8.15pm with gates opening at 3.15pm. There will be a FREE bus from Wrexham General Station to the racecourse at 4.15 pm, returning at 8.35 pm. Course tickets are available from £7, and Paddock tickets from £17 in advance.

To buy tickets, please call the Racecourse Box Office on 01244 304 610 or visit
