Newbury Racecourse hosts further Royal visit

Less than a month on from Her Majesty The Queen’s visit to Newbury Racecourse on its first day of the Flat season, The Royal Box was in use again when  HRH The Princess Royal landed by helicopter to join dignitaries and members of the Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA), in her role as President of the organisation.

The Royal Box played host to the annual RDA Supra regional conference on 4 May, with attendees including The Hon Mrs Bayliss Lord Lieutenant of the Royal County of Berkshire, Cllr Graham Pask, Chairman West Berkshire Council and Mrs Hilary Pask King, Mr Christopher Spence, Chairman Newbury Racecourse and Mrs Sam Orde, Chairman RDA National.

Newbury Racecourse’s Royal Box is available to hire on race days and non-race days.  With members of the Royal Family visiting it for over the past 100 years it provides a luxury and unique venue for any special occasion or event.

For Royal Box enquiries visit www.newbury-racecourse.co.uk or call 01635 40015.
