Although the weather has ideas of its own, spring has sprung and so now is an ideal opportunity for you to swap (or think about swapping) your heady winter fragrances for a lighter spring scent. Here are a few new fragrances out this month.

British solo singer and judge of Strictly Come Dancing & Britain’s Got Talent, Alesha Dixon has brought out her first fragrance ‘Alesha Rose Quartz’.

Alesha’s love of crystals has inspired her to create a series of fragrances called Crystal Collection and Rose Quartz is the first to be presented.

Representing love and positive thoughts, Rose is dominant in the top and heart of the fragrance.

Opening notes include bergamot, grapefruit, geranium and magnolia, whilst the bottom notes are of vetivert, cedar and musk.

Available from £24.50 for EDT 100ml

DOLCE The Perfume

Dolce&Gabbana’s latest fragrance has a young fresh floral scent inspired by the memories of Sicily.

Top notes: Neroli leaves and Papaya flower

Heart: White water lily, White Daffodil and white Amaryllis (an ingredient used for the first time ever in scent)

Base notes: musk, accents of Cashmeran and light Sandalwood

Packaging: The large flower stopper in graduating shades of milky white, cream and soft pink is crafted to portray the marzipan sculptures seen in traditional Sicilian confectioners. The name Dolce is a replica of Domenico Dolce’s father’s own signature. A thin black grosgrain ribbon tied in an elegant bow around the neck of the bottle portrays the bowties that were a signature of early Dolce&Gabanna catwalk shows.

Also available in shower gel and body lotion.
