To celebrate the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ the Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill hotel is serving a special Mad Hatter’s Afternoon tea from June until 8th September 2015 in The Montagu restaurant.

On display are 20 couture headpieces created by milliner duo Lomax and Skinner including five pieces specially designed for the occasion. But which one will you go mad over?

Alice bow… duchess satin asymmetrical bow overlaid with vintage veiling and fine feathers.

White Rabbit…..white feathers and duchess satin hand shaped bunny ears finished off with vintage veiling and ribbon.

Queen of hearts……parasisal straw red heart with a burst of hand cut feathers and vintage playing cards cut in to hearts on wire stems.

Cherry pie…..straw tart base filled with satin for the Crème patisserie and glacé fruit with gold veiling.

The dynamic duo will also be ‘Artists in Residence’ at the Hyatt on 7th July (for an ambassador’s wives lunch); 30th July and 1st September for the Tatler Magazine reader event. On these days they will be making hats and are on hand for any advice needed for hat styles suiting people and what to wear for different hat wearing occasions.
