Inspired by a young Lucian Freud, Oliver Spencer’s collection has an art-house and Beatnik feel as suits of textured rugged fabrics are teamed and layered with the more casual knits.
Colour palette was strong with muted khakis, browns and greys given a blast of attitude with a dash of blue and a pop of orange/red.
|(Above) Shirt prints were the romantic paisley and the sharper navy pin dots. Knitwear is in a chunky basket weave.
(Right) The young ’50s baseball jacket was given a more grown-up tailored makeover in wool, but kept the fun element with contrasting patterned sleeves.
(Below) Spencer used an eclectic mix of models to show his collection brings sartorial styles to all.
