This season, designer Omar Mansoor synonymous to couture eveningwear decided to show his newly launched prêt line at London Fashion Week, giving us all hope of actually owning one of his creations.
For AW14 Mansoor chose a romantic colour palette of high contrasting black, ivory and ruby red taking his inspiration from the traditional English wedding colour scheme.
Combining eastern crafting techniques with western silhouettes, the collection includes delicate embroidery, layers of sheer fabrics, asymmetrical hemlines and dramatic necklines symbolising fun, and the celebration of beauty.
His prêt line includes the on trend jumpsuits with both full length trousers and shorts. Fabrics used are silk jersey, crepes and sheer nets blended with Lycra.
But mansoor can’t help adding one of his evening gowns in to the collection.
Pieces can be viewed at Amaka in London’s Westfield Designer Village and Creativations Chelsea on London’s Fulham Road.
