There are three basic types of bets in horse racing: the Win, Each Way, and more recently, the Lay. The Win bet is the simplest type of bet for a horse race match that even horse betting beginners know. The mechanics of the game is to bet on a horse to win, and if it doesn’t take the first place, you lose. The Each Way, on the other hand, is two bets in one. It is both a Win bet and a Place bet which is a backup. If you bet on a horse in Each Way, you win if it is in the first place or any other significant place. The Lay bet, on the other hand, is the opposite of the win bet. It is when you bet on a horse not to win, and when it wins, you lose.

Aside from these basic types of bets, there are also horse racing betting in multiple bets. It is where punters try to increase their chances of winning by combining two or even more selections in one single bet.

Trixie

A Trixie involves four bets with three selections that belong in different events. It includes three doubles and a treble. Two of the selections must be successful for you to get a return.

Patent

A Patent consistsseven bets with three selections from different events. It includes a single in every selection, three doubles, and a treble. You only need one selection to be successful to get a return.

Yankee

A Yankee is composed of 11 bets with four selections from different events. This type of bet includes six doubles, four trebles, and one accumulator. To get a return in this kind of horse racing bet, at least two of your selections must be successful.

Lucky 15

The Lucky 15 is a horse racing type of bet which is consist of 15 bets with four selections from different events. This kind of bet includes six doubles, four singles, four trebles, and a fourfold. Having one of our selection successful, you will most often be given a consolation to the returns such as double or treble the odds. Having four of your selections successful, a 10 percent bonus or more is often given to the total returns.

For an each way Lucky 15 bet, the consolation is usually just given for the win part of the bet and not on the place part. However, the possible bonuses in a Lucky 15 bet are one of the main reasons it is thought to be a good value multiple bets.

Canadian

The Canadian bet is also often called the Super Yankee. It involves a total of 26 bets with five selections from different events. It is made up of 10 doubles, ten trebles, fivefourfolds, and one accumulator. To get a return for this type of horse race bet, at least two of your selections must be successful.

Lucky 31

Just like the Lucky 15, the Lucky 31 is pretty obvious. It includes 31 bets in five selections from different events. It includesten doubles, ten trebles, five singles, fivefourfolds, and one accumulator. If there is one selection that wins, the return or consolation is often to double or treble the odds.Having all of your selections win, a 15 percent bonus or more is often paid to the total returns.

Heinz

Heinz is a total of 57 bets with six selections from different events. It includes 20 trebles, 15 doubles, 15 fourfolds, sixfivefold, and one accumulator. To get a return, you must have at least two of your selections be successful.

Lucky 63

Lucky 63 includes 63 bets with six selections from different events. The bet includes 20 trebles, 15 doubles, 15 fourfolds, six singles, sixfivefold, and one accumulator. It works the same as the Lucky 15 and Lucky 31.

Super Heinz

The Super Heinz is a total of 120 bets with seven selections from different events. This type of bet includes 35 trebles, 35 fourfolds, 21 doubles, 21 fivefold, sevensixfold, and one accumulator. To get a return, at least two of your selection must be successful.

Goliath

Considered as a monster bet, the Goliath is a total of 247 bets with eight selections from different events. The bet includes 70 fourfolds, 56 trebles, 56 fivefold, 28 doubles, 28 sixfold, eightsevenfold, and one accumulator. Having at least two of your selections successful will guarantee you get a return.
