To match the floral dresses of female fashionistas, Newbury Racecourse is at the forefront of a new global trend using edible flowers to create a fresh and healthy alternative to the traditional Ladies Day lunch – The Eve Salad.

The floral-inspired dish is available at the Ladies Day Hula Bar & Grill at the Party in the Paddock fixture on Saturday 14 August, when Westlife will be performing live after racing. The salad is delicately decorated with edible nasturtiums, bursting with fresh seafood including mouth-watering king prawns, marinated salmon and crayfish. At just £6.50 this fresh and healthy salad is the perfect light bite for ladies wishing to catch up between races and swap those all important race tips.

Newbury Racecourse has teamed up with The Eve Appeal – a charity funding world leading research into gynaecological cancers, which affect over 18,000 women in the UK every year. Newbury Racecourse will donate 10% of the sale from each salad on the day, to help raise awareness and contributions for The Eve Appeal.
