Captain Joy seeking Dundalk Fast-Track Qualifier repeat on Friday 10th March

Last season’s All-Weather Mile Championships victor Captain Joy tries to set up another Good Friday tilt by winning the €25,000 Matthews Coach Hire Race at Dundalk on Friday 10th March. The Tracey Collins-trained eight-year-old captured the corresponding Polytrack Fast-Track Qualifier over a mile last season before going on to beat Sovereign Debt by half a length in the £150,000 contest at Lingfield Park on Finals Day. £250,000 Trophy the highlight of Newbury Winter Carnival

Newbury Winter Carnival: Newbury Racecourse has announced the race names for its Jump season highlight that will be sponsored for the first time this year by Ladbrokes. The two-day meeting, which takes place on Friday 1st December and Saturday 2nd December in 2017, will be known as The Ladbrokes Winter Carnival, with both days broadcast live on ITV Racing.
