Well what a week it’s been and I must confess I’ve had enough of wind, rain and then oh yeah more rain but it did not dampen the enthusiasm for last weekend’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, which was a great success for Queen and Country.

So we come to the fourth English Classic of the season and some will tell you the most prestigious in the racing calendar.

Well we had a really nice winner last weekend with MINCE and hope some of you took the hint of how confident I was at the time of writing, as I would rarely advise people to “LUMP ON”!!
