Yorkshire-based Amy Ryan, who last season became the first female rider to be crowned outright Britain’s Champion Apprentice Jockey, has given her support to the latest ‘Back a Winner by Train’ campaign from local train operators, First TransPennine Express (FTPE) and Northern Rail.
Horses from 21 countries, including 26 International Group 1 winners, have been accepted for the Dubai World Cup Carnival which gets underway on 10 January at Meydan Racecourse.
